Build and maintain production-grade software, geospatial data pipelines, analytical and machine learning workflows, and cloud infrastructure. Responsibilities include data modeling, testing, CI/CD, reproducibility, monitoring, performance tuning, and infrastructure management across GCP and AWS. The role collaborates with scientists and analysts, productionizes research code, contributes to backend and frontend systems, and improves engineering and data workflows.

Lead project financing strategy and deal execution for nature-based carbon projects: structure capital stacks and term sheets, build investor relationships, develop investment cases and financial models, and coordinate with internal teams to ensure projects are investable, scalable, and aligned with integrity and delivery requirements.

Lead and build the finance function: manage external bookkeeping, own month-end close and statutory compliance, design and integrate the finance systems stack (Xero, CRM, payroll), implement spend controls and SOPs, deliver management and board reporting, run cash flow forecasting, and create multi-year financial models to support Series B and project finance.
