Owns Retool’s AI monetization, enterprise expansion, and usage-control product strategy. The role leads projects from customer discovery through launch, adoption measurement, and iteration, with success measured by expansion revenue, AI adoption, predictable customer spending, and sustainable economics.

Own the reliability and quality of AI-powered features in production. Design prompting, retrieval, routing, tool-use strategies, evaluation frameworks, guardrails, fallbacks, and regression detection for non-deterministic systems. Diagnose hallucinations, instruction drift, and context sensitivity while balancing quality, cost, latency, and robustness. Collaborate with product and infrastructure teams to establish quality standards and ship dependable AI products.

Build Retool’s automation platform, including Workflows and Agents, orchestration engines, execution infrastructure, AI integrations, and developer tooling. Design scalable distributed systems, collaborate with product and design, own projects from architecture through launch and iteration, improve platform reliability and performance, work with customers, and mentor engineers.

Own Retool’s integration platform strategy and roadmap, including reusable connections to databases, APIs, storage systems, AI models, and enterprise resources. Lead 0-to-1 products from customer research through launch and iteration, partner with engineering, design, sales, customer success, and third-party providers, and make build-versus-partner decisions. Define scalable platform primitives, shape builder experiences, and drive adoption, ease of setup, resource reuse, and customer value.

Own the strategy and roadmap for Retool’s AI platform infrastructure, enabling enterprises to deploy, operate, observe, secure, and scale AI-powered applications and agents. Partner with engineering and enterprise customers on deployment, reliability, access controls, APIs, infrastructure as code, observability, and operational tooling. Lead initiatives from discovery through launch and adoption while making technical tradeoffs and turning recurring customer needs into scalable platform capabilities.

You will improve Retool's core editor, enhance platform performance, debug issues, and collaborate with teams on feature development.

Develop and define Retool’s brand voice across websites, campaigns, content, events, and in-product experiences. Partner with design, marketing, product, engineering, and external agencies to translate complex technical concepts into clear, compelling copy. Establish voice and tone systems, maintain brand consistency, experiment with new language, provide creative feedback, and independently manage multiple projects in a fast-paced startup environment.

Design and build internal tools and automate workflows to streamline operations, eliminate manual work, and improve efficiency across teams.

The Application Security Engineer will identify security gaps, build tooling, conduct code reviews, and drive vulnerability remediation, ensuring secure product delivery.

As a Software Engineer on the Governance team, you'll build secure system layers, focusing on access controls, policy enforcement, and admin experience, ensuring Retool is trusted for enterprise use.

Build and own full-stack systems for enterprise Retool administration, governance, security, and organization-wide scaling. Develop admin onboarding, projects, permissions, AI cost controls, telemetry pipelines, and multi-instance management features. Work across backend systems, data modeling, product infrastructure, APIs, and customer-facing interfaces while collaborating with engineering, product, design, and security teams. Own technically challenging projects end to end, emphasizing scalability, reliability, testing, code quality, and solving enterprise customer problems.

Lead cross-functional business operations and strategic initiatives at Retool. Partner with executives and business leaders on resource allocation, pricing, prioritization, and operational improvements. Own the company OKR process, including goal-setting, alignment, portfolio tracking, executive reporting, and key-result execution. Support IPO readiness, incubate new functions, and manage high-value initiatives from problem definition through implementation.

Lead and scale Retool's AMER events and field marketing program, managing internal and external events, a team, and budget. Partner with GTM, PMM, Content, and RevOps to drive pipeline, measure event ROI, and execute experiential projects like dinners, roadshows, launches, and conferences.

As a Data Scientist at Retool, you will analyze customer behavior and business performance, build analytical models, and provide insights to guide strategy across teams.

Lead end-to-end UX research initiatives to inform product and design strategy. Plan and run qualitative and quantitative studies, synthesize insights, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and embed research practice across the organization to guide AI-enabled enterprise product decisions.

Own enterprise accounts in EMEA, build pipeline with BDRs, close six- and seven-figure deals, manage negotiations and procurement, partner with Sales Engineers and execs, maintain Salesforce, and execute strategic plans to meet revenue targets while driving adoption across technical and executive stakeholders.

As a Software Engineer at Retool, you will enhance the core editor's UX, work on application scalability, debug customer issues, and assist in recruiting engineers, all while collaborating closely with product and design teams.
