Leads financial accounting and reporting, including monthly close, reconciliations, journals, fixed assets, statutory statements, forecasts, financial controls, and accounting policy advice. The role supports Board and Audit Committee reporting, regulatory obligations, external requests, and continuous finance-process improvement while partnering with senior stakeholders. Advanced Excel, accounting standards, statutory reporting expertise, and a Chartered Accountant qualification are required.

Provide financial leadership and oversight for the Reserve Bank’s investment budget and project portfolio. Review business cases, budgets, forecasts, capital and operating expenditure, benefits, and ongoing costs; challenge assumptions; identify efficiencies and risks; support project managers and business owners; improve financial processes; and advise senior decision-makers on portfolio finance and value-for-money matters.

Leads the Reserve Bank’s technology strategy, enterprise architecture practice, governance, roadmaps, and emerging technology adoption. Drives AI deployment and AI-enabled business transformation, evaluates digital assets and financial technologies, and provides technology leadership for strategic initiatives including Payments Modernisation. The role influences senior stakeholders, leads high-performing teams, and translates complex technology opportunities into business value while building a sustainable performance culture.
