Manage litigated auto insurance claims from investigation through settlement or closure. Evaluate liability, damages, coverage, legal expenses, and policy language; negotiate with opposing counsel; oversee defense counsel, experts, adjusters, and other vendors; attend mediations, arbitrations, hearings, depositions, and trials; maintain claim files and provide reporting. The role also supports litigation strategy, compliance, coverage correspondence, and process improvements with product and engineering teams.

Lead the AV claims team by assigning files, reviewing reserves and liability decisions, handling complex claims, coaching adjusters, maintaining AV handling procedures, managing client and operator communications, monitoring performance, training staff, and coordinating with Compliance, QA, Legal, and Product on regulatory, process, and tooling improvements.

Leads a team of commercial auto claims adjusters supporting a rideshare client. Oversees claims handling, investigations, evaluations, settlements, recoveries, escalations, quality, training, onboarding, and performance. Prepares claims reports and analytics, advises clients on trends and loss mitigation, and serves as backup for the claims manager. The role combines people leadership with hands-on bodily injury claims work and requires flexibility in a remote environment.
