Supports product obsolescence across Renishaw’s optical product range by analyzing sales data, coordinating last-time-buy requests, managing end-of-life components, developing formal obsolescence processes, maintaining documentation, and ensuring legal and corporate compliance. The role works closely with Product Marketing, Material Control, Purchasing, and other teams to phase out products smoothly.

Lead, coach, and develop production operators and technicians in a high-mix assembly environment. Coordinate production, process, and quality issue resolution; manage schedules; support inventory and material planning; analyze performance metrics; and drive continuous improvement in safety, quality, delivery, and productivity. Collaborate with engineering, supply chain, manufacturing, and product teams to meet customer demand and business objectives.

Design, develop and introduce assembly and test processes to move new products from prototype to production. Validate pilot builds, manage sourcing of equipment and tooling, ensure processes are robust, safe and efficient, and report process development for product transfer to manufacturing.
