Develop and validate model-based control algorithms for automotive powertrain systems. Responsibilities include Simulink and Stateflow modeling, software integration, Model-in-the-Loop simulation, experimental data analysis, Hardware-in-the-Loop verification, rapid prototyping, and automation using MATLAB and Excel tools. The role also involves reviewing deliverables, improving development processes, and training junior engineers.

Six-month industrial research internship focused on safe, efficient lane-changing decision-making for automated driving systems under uncertainty. Responsibilities include reviewing research, modeling highway scenarios, implementing and integrating decision-making algorithms, testing simulations with noisy measurements and unpredictable vehicle behavior, and evaluating safety, efficiency, comfort, and robustness. The intern will analyze results, document findings, and recommend improvements while collaborating with automotive researchers and engineers.

Defines and manages validation test programs for powertrain parts, including engine endurance, metrology, instrumentation, and characterization. Coordinates test implementation, validation meetings, follow-up, and failure root-cause analysis. Responsible for commodity-part costing and milestone-based reporting across projects, including bottom costing, RFQs, cost reports, and process data capitalization. Identifies cost-reduction opportunities, challenges suppliers and stakeholders using technical and economic analysis, gathers costing information during supplier visits, and supports digital transformation and process improvements for upstream projects.

Performs crash analysis and project execution for automotive components, preferably body-in-white structures. Applies finite element analysis concepts and techniques, uses ANSA and PAMCRASH, and contributes to methodology development.

Supports Dacia and Renault Romania’s commercial distribution and marketing activities through vehicle document management, data cleansing, market analysis, forecasting, and performance reporting. The intern contributes to registration and market-share indicators, identifies process-efficiency improvements, prepares stakeholder insights, and supports strategic planning. The role offers experience with automotive commercial and logistics flows, data mining tools, reporting, and cross-functional collaboration.

Supports the Product Owner on the Battery Passport Backend project by gathering and defining requirements, writing user stories, presenting them to developers, and participating in user testing. Helps implement Specification Driven Development to accelerate the use of artificial intelligence in software development, identifies implementation barriers, recommends improvements, and supports organizing full-scale testing. This is a six-month junior Business Analyst role within Renault’s ESG and Data IT domain.

Integrate and configure software components within vehicle ECU environments using MATLAB and Simulink. Develop integrated models, manage requirements, conduct system testing and validation, troubleshoot integration issues, and support compliance with AUTOSAR, ISO 26262, and automotive development processes. Lead project quality, cost, and timing objectives defined by the CPO while coordinating with design, process, purchasing, manufacturing, supply chain, costing, and vehicle engineering teams. Strong experience in electric vehicle projects is preferred.

Supports commodity strategy, supplier panel management, sourcing activities, RFQ evaluations, negotiations, supplier performance tracking, and product development coordination for BOP and non-BOP commodities. Assists with supplier quality, capacity, sustainability, documentation, purchase order releases, QCDDM performance, corrective actions, workforce planning, training, and team development while aligning activities with Renault-Nissan strategies and KPIs.
