Teams at Relay Robotics

Supports autonomous robot deployments in hospital environments through site readiness, configuration, mapping, testing, troubleshooting, and go-live support. Investigates issues across robots, Linux systems, networks, cloud services, databases, and integrations using logs and telemetry. Works with customers and cross-functional teams, contributes to documentation and playbooks, supports escalations, and improves deployment and support processes. The role requires 20–40% travel and offers broad early-career exposure to robotics, healthcare technology, and field operations.

Develop and deploy autonomy software across perception, localization, mapping, calibration, and motion planning. Build safe, scalable robotics algorithms and fleet-performance tooling using real sensor data and machine learning. Maintain strong software engineering practices, including Git, code review, CI/CD, and deployment pipelines. Collaborate with hardware, firmware, applications, and operations teams to ship autonomy features to real-world robotic systems.

Support the full customer lifecycle for hospital deployments of autonomous delivery robots: assist pre-sales discovery, execute deployments and on-site setup, train staff, monitor utilization, identify optimization and expansion opportunities, coordinate cross-functional teams, and document best practices.
