The role supports business office efficiency, resident services, staff development, and nursing facility operations. Strong communication, organization, customer service, and Microsoft Office skills are required.

High school completion is preferred, and applicants must be at least 16 years old.

Advises administrators and nursing leaders, audits clinical records and operational systems, reviews Medicare and Medicaid claims, evaluates regulatory compliance, develops plans of correction, prepares reports, supports quality assurance committees, and trains facility staff. Requires frequent travel between facilities, a current Texas RN license, and preferably a bachelor’s degree and skilled nursing experience.

Manages the facility business office, including accounts receivable, deposits, resident trust funds, census records, billing, collections, Medicaid applications, refunds, reconciliations, and payer account reviews. Processes Medicare, hospice, coinsurance, credit card, and EFT transactions while maintaining accurate financial records. Coordinates financial meetings with administrators, admissions, care management, and corporate personnel, and performs special assignments as directed.
