Leads and manages the electrical engineering team developing electronic systems for unmanned aircraft. Oversees embedded electronics, PCB, battery management, motor control, RF, testing, regulatory compliance, product qualification, and production transition. Collaborates with mechanical, software, firmware, and manufacturing teams while managing engineering projects, schedules, budgets, resources, and product roadmaps. Requires strong technical leadership, cross-functional communication, and experience with new product introduction and manufacturing scale-up.

Analyzes inventory trends, supplier performance, demand variability, and supply chain KPIs. The role manages inventory accuracy, directs supplier corrective actions, develops scorecards and SOPs, analyzes SAP data, presents dashboards to leadership, and leads cross-functional continuous improvement initiatives. The Quality Engineer develops and improves quality processes across aerospace product design, manufacturing, supplier management, integration, and delivery. Responsibilities include inspections, inspection plans, process validation, supplier qualification, root cause analysis, CAPA/RCCA, MRB activities, quality metrics, and QMS improvement under AS9100 and ISO 9001. The role partners with engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, suppliers, and customers to resolve issues and reduce variability. Domestic travel to supplier sites is required.

Lead ERP readiness and adoption for manufacturing sites: document current-state SAP Business One processes, define data governance, drive process mapping to a future SaaS ERP, coordinate training, testing, cutover, hypercare, and stabilization while managing readiness plans, remediation, and stakeholder alignment across sites and vendors.

Support development, launch, and lifecycle management of hardware/software products (notably UAS). Collaborate with engineering, program/product management, and customers to define requirements, support NPI, perform market research, manage risks, assist go-to-market and budgeting, and drive continuous improvement across product lines.

Support customer operations, aftermarket services, and cross-functional teams by managing service/repair requests, spare parts fulfillment, and order processing.
