Promote County Durham drug and alcohol recovery services through compelling stories, local media coverage, leaflets, video content, community events, and partner engagement. The role involves collaborating with councils, internal teams, external partners, and a national communications team. Candidates will use strong copywriting, creative writing, administrative, presentation, and relationship-building skills to increase awareness of community services.

Provides front-of-house reception and general administrative support at a community substance-use service. Responsibilities include welcoming and directing service users, booking appointments, handling enquiries, maintaining visitor records, processing post, monitoring inboxes, completing data entry, and supporting administrative operations. The role requires organisation, communication, adaptability, professionalism, and the ability to remain calm while managing competing priorities in a busy environment.

Promote North Yorkshire Horizons’ community and drug and alcohol support services through compelling stories, local media coverage, marketing materials, campaigns, videos, events, and partnership communications. The officer will build relationships with internal and external stakeholders, engage communities, and advocate for people with lived experience while contributing to Waythrough’s national communications community.

Manage grant-related invoicing, sales ledger, credit control and debt cases; post and reconcile income; meet month-end revenue deadlines; maintain financial records and respond to invoice queries.
