Readers 2 Leaders helps Dallas children reach grade level in reading through high-quality in-school, after-school, and summer camp tutoring. We reach 700+ students per year by partnering with Dallas ISD, Uplift Education, and operating our flagship after-school and summer site, Booktown!
In 2017, we launched a new initiative to provide coaching and training to other nonprofits that wish to help improve their reading. From April 8-16, you can help us win up to $150,000 through United Way's Social Innovation Accelerator by voting for us online in The Vote and in person at The Pitch. With your support, we can reach nearly 20,000 students with the literacy support they need in five years!
