Lead and conduct defence and security research for Dutch and European clients, design multi-method studies, manage projects and budgets, win business, represent RAND publicly, and mentor colleagues to grow the Netherlands defence portfolio.

Lead and manage a portfolio of research and evaluation projects on research and innovation (R&I) policy, metascience, and funding evaluation. Provide thought leadership, mentor researchers, drive business development and bids, build networks with funders/collaborators, and communicate findings to maximise policy impact.
