Responsibilities include maintaining AML/CFT policies, risk assessments, KYC/CDD, transaction monitoring, sanctions screening, suspicious transaction reporting, regulatory submissions, audits, remediation, recordkeeping, compliance-by-design, training, and board reporting. The role serves as a primary contact for Maltese regulators and advises management on AML/CFT matters.

Owns Rakuten Viber’s DORA governance and operational resilience program, maintaining ICT inventories, policies, evidence repositories, risk registers, and third-party oversight. Coordinates audits, regulatory inspections, incident reporting, business impact analyses, continuity and recovery testing, tabletop exercises, and remediation tracking. The role leads cross-functional governance meetings, follows up on action owners, manages regulatory evidence requests, and prepares Board-level reporting on ICT risk and resilience.

Owns local marketing strategy and execution for Viber in the Philippines and Vietnam, prioritizing the Philippines. Leads campaigns across paid media, social, partnerships, PR, creators, CRM, and other channels; coordinates agencies and global teams; monitors performance; and provides market insights. Serves as the local marketing contact for Viber Dating, managing localization, product updates, promotions, and cross-functional execution across both markets.

Own global go-to-market strategy for Viber’s consumer communication, monetization, and partnership products. Define positioning, messaging, launch plans, and growth strategies across acquisition, activation, engagement, retention, and monetization. Build the product marketing function, establish scalable processes, and partner closely with Product, R&D, regional marketing, CRM, Creative, and Business teams. Support global and local market execution while using data and KPIs to drive measurable user growth.

Analyze user, product, and business data to identify improvement opportunities and guide strategic decisions. Design and evaluate A/B tests, build dashboards and reports, communicate insights to cross-functional stakeholders, and use AI and automation to improve analytical workflows. The role partners with product, engineering, and marketing teams in a consumer digital product environment.

Administer and optimize Zendesk workflows, triggers, routing, macros, reporting, automations, and AI Agent flows. Lead technical projects, translate business needs into requirements, configure API and webhook integrations, and collaborate with Product, Engineering, DevOps, and Support.
