The Money Laundering Reporting Officer will lead financial crime compliance for payment services in Malta. Responsibilities include maintaining AML/CFT policies, risk assessments, KYC/CDD, transaction monitoring, sanctions screening, suspicious transaction reporting, regulatory submissions, audits, remediation, recordkeeping, compliance-by-design, training, and board reporting. The role serves as a primary contact for Maltese regulators and advises management on AML/CFT matters.

Owns Rakuten Viber’s DORA governance and operational resilience program, maintaining ICT inventories, policies, evidence repositories, risk registers, and third-party oversight. Coordinates audits, regulatory inspections, incident reporting, business impact analyses, continuity and recovery testing, tabletop exercises, and remediation tracking. The role leads cross-functional governance meetings, follows up on action owners, manages regulatory evidence requests, and prepares Board-level reporting on ICT risk and resilience.

Owns local marketing strategy and execution for Viber in the Philippines and Vietnam, prioritizing the Philippines. Leads campaigns across paid media, social, partnerships, PR, creators, CRM, and other channels; coordinates agencies and global teams; monitors performance; and provides market insights. Serves as the local marketing contact for Viber Dating, managing localization, product updates, promotions, and cross-functional execution across both markets.
