Coordinates with technical, legal, regulatory, finance, and communications teams on international programs, including export controls and sanctions compliance. Supports foreign-government engagement, diplomatic delegations, demonstrations, and project development. The role is based in Washington, DC and requires domestic and international travel.

Develops mission-critical electrical subsystems for Rainmaker’s unmanned aerial systems platform, supporting UAS, dispersion payload, and in-situ and remote sensing systems used in cloud seeding and precipitation enhancement operations.

Support mission-critical mechanical subsystems for Rainmaker’s UAS platform. Collaborate with senior engineers in a hands-on hardware environment involving dispersion payloads and in-situ and remote sensing systems. The role contributes to an innovative cloud-seeding system incorporating radar validation, weather-resistant UAS, numerical weather modeling, and sustainable cloud seeds.

Lead hands-on mechanical engineering for Rainmaker’s cloud-seeding systems, including UAS, dispersion payloads, and sensing hardware. Own hardware development from concept through production while providing technical leadership, reviewing engineering work, and supporting innovative operational systems addressing water scarcity and weather challenges.

Own Rainmaker’s production infrastructure and security across cloud systems, deployments, observability, identity and access, secrets, vulnerability management, incident response, and recovery. Build CI/CD and test infrastructure, operate resilient 24/7 remote systems, and collaborate across software, science, aircraft engineering, and field operations. Improve deployment, monitoring, security, and recovery processes.

Own state and local permitting for domestic cloud seeding programs: scope regulatory requirements, draft and shepherd permits and licenses, manage environmental approvals, maintain compliance reporting (NOAA Form 17-4), and build state-by-state playbooks and stakeholder relationships to ensure authorized, on-time operations.

Support company planning and translate growth plans into operational requirements. Drive cross-functional strategic initiatives, build processes and reporting, produce decision-ready analysis for leadership, support planning and reviews, and own high-priority special projects.

Owns the connection between Engineering and Production for an evolving drone platform. Translates design changes into build and maintenance documentation, manages revision control and engineering change processes, supports quality assurance and root-cause investigations, improves equipment and assembly workflows, coordinates procurement, and trains production staff. The role requires manufacturing engineering expertise, PCB quality knowledge, CAD and PLM/ERP experience, technical documentation skills, and at least two years of management experience.

Lead ML research to prioritize and deliver operational models using multimodal atmospheric, radar, satellite, and in‑cloud data. Build datasets, baselines, uncertainty-aware evaluations, and prototypes that meteorologists and engineers can productionize. Work directly with domain scientists, run experiments, and turn results into operational improvements for cloud‑seeding and related forecasting tasks.

Lead technical development of airborne atmospheric sensing instruments from requirements through design, fabrication, calibration, flight testing, validation, and production transition. Integrate optics, mechanics, electronics, embedded control, and data systems; coordinate cross-functional and vendor work; design verification and calibration plans; and establish instrumentation roadmap and field-support procedures.

Own and build customer-facing geospatial and data-visualization products: interactive campaign visualizations, GIS proposal tooling, demo environments, component library, and instrumentation to drive sales and customer trust. Full-stack ownership from frontend (React/TypeScript) to backend (Python/Node), architecture, and product design.

Lead business development with California state government for Rainmaker's water and precipitation programs. Own revenue targets, build pipelines across appropriations, grants, and contracts, cultivate legislative and agency relationships, shape policy and budget engagement, coordinate public/private partnerships, support cross-functional pursuits, and run events and market intelligence to secure funded work.

Lead architecture, PCB design, and rapid prototyping of electrical systems for UAS and payloads. Perform board bring-up, testing, documentation, and cross-functional integration. Mentor engineers and drive designs from concept through manufacturing and flight validation.

Lead state-focused business development in Nevada for precipitation enhancement and water resource programs. Own revenue targets, identify funding pathways (appropriations, grants, contracts), build legislative and agency relationships, shape policy, coordinate public/private partnerships, support proposals with cross-functional teams, organize demonstrations and events, and track market intelligence to convert opportunities into funded programs.
