The role requires collaboration with engineering, supplier development, quality, and operations teams and is fully onsite in El Segundo with travel to supplier locations up to 30%.

Owns manufacturing and inspection processes for complex nuclear reactor components and assemblies. The role drives DFM/DFA, develops and qualifies production processes, creates manufacturing documentation and tooling, resolves defects, supports suppliers, and improves production repeatability, yield, throughput, cost, and scalability. Requires hands-on collaboration with design, quality, test, supply chain, technicians, and production personnel in a fully onsite environment.

Own manufacturing and inspection processes for complex nuclear reactor hardware, driving DFM/DFA, process qualification, tooling, documentation, supplier development, quality controls, and production scalability. Partner with design, quality, test, supply chain, and operations teams to troubleshoot manufacturing issues, implement corrective actions, and improve repeatability, throughput, yield, and cost. This hands-on role supports hardware builds, integration, and transition from prototype development to repeatable production.

Own the frontend of Radiant’s telemetry and fleet management platform for portable nuclear reactors. Build reliable, performant React and TypeScript interfaces for data analysis, device configuration, telemetry monitoring, and mission-critical operations. Collaborate across the Mission Software team and company stakeholders while contributing to complex UI systems, debugging, code reviews, and hardware-connected applications. This is a fully onsite role in El Segundo with occasional extended hours and weekend work as needed.

Supports the design, modeling, analysis, testing, validation, and troubleshooting of electrical systems, components, hardware, and instrumentation for portable nuclear microreactors. Collaborates with mechanical, software, and nuclear engineering teams; contributes to schematics, documentation, technical reports, laboratory work, and prototyping.

Assist with tooling for simulation software and contribute to internal products supporting simulation and analysis results. The role requires a software-related degree, familiarity with object-oriented programming in languages such as Python, C++, or C#, and basic software development and Git knowledge. Candidates should be graduating in December 2026 or Spring 2027. Interest in simulation tools, software testing, distributed development, and hardware or physics is encouraged.

Contribute to the design, analysis, testing, integration, and validation of portable nuclear microreactors. The role owns engineering deliverables from concept through build, supports system-level testing and troubleshooting, collaborates across disciplines, and communicates results through design reviews, technical reports, and presentations. Candidates should have a mechanical or aerospace engineering degree, strong engineering fundamentals, hands-on design-and-build experience, and proficiency with CAD, analysis tools, and laboratory instrumentation.

Develop and refine DOE- and NRC-compliant reactor operating procedures integrating hardware, software, simulators, digital twins, and human-machine interfaces. Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to improve operator workflows, procedure usability, testing, commissioning, and safe reactor operations. Support software and hardware testing while applying human factors principles to operational documentation and interfaces.
