Own and monitor the credit portfolio across vintages, losses, originations, NPL, yield, profitability, and portfolio health. Underwrite high-ticket merchant credit facilities at scale, extract and analyze portfolio data using SQL or Python, apply statistical reasoning, automate KPI monitoring, identify risk patterns, and turn findings into business decisions and presentations. Partner with business teams and clients across Latin America in a fast-paced fintech environment.

Act as the technical bridge between R2 and partner platforms to design, implement, and maintain integrations. Build APIs, ETL, and data pipelines; access live partner data to optimize decisioning; debug production systems; produce deployment playbooks, access protocols, and documentation; collaborate with product, data science, and backend teams to scale secure fintech integrations across Latin America.

Build, automate, and validate preventive and detective controls across operations. Write and optimize SQL, develop Python (pandas) scripts to test controls, create BI dashboards (Tableau/Looker/Power BI), investigate exceptions, document control logic, and partner with cross-functional teams to embed and remediate controls in production workflows.

Design, build, and maintain scalable APIs, services, and system architecture; ensure uptime, reliability, and security; contribute to CI/CD, containerization, event-driven and integration work; mentor teammates and drive engineering standards.

Lead platform architecture and implementation across services: design scalable APIs (REST/gRPC), event-driven systems, CDC pipelines, observability (OpenTelemetry, Prometheus), containerized deployments, full-text search, and financial-grade systems. Mentor engineers, drive reliability standards, champion trunk-based development and feature flags, and deliver mission-critical, low-latency services.
