Owns QuantWare’s science and technical communications, including peer-reviewed publications, preprints, grant proposals, whitepapers, videos, blogs, website copy, conference materials, and executive briefings. Partners with R&D and engineering leaders to develop accurate, defensible narratives for physicists, customers, investors, analysts, and media. Requires strong technical writing, scientific judgment, audience awareness, and collaboration across technical and commercial teams.

Design, prototype, and iterate mechanical components for quantum processors, including sample holders, shielding, brackets, and packaging. Translate product requirements into manufacturable designs, document technical drawings and best practices, and manage suppliers and outsourced manufacturing. The role addresses compactness, thermalisation, magnetic shielding, radiation protection, and high-density integration while collaborating with design and measurement teams.

Own and grow an international territory selling complex quantum/advanced-hardware solutions to research institutes, universities, national labs and commercial customers. Generate new business, manage full sales cycle, coordinate technical evaluations with engineering, build channel and technology partnerships, maintain pipeline forecasting in HubSpot, and provide market feedback to Product and Leadership.

Serve as QuantWare’s first in-house lawyer and sole legal owner, reporting to the CFO. Lead IPO and public-company readiness, commercial contract negotiation, corporate governance, shareholder and investor documentation, employment-law support, and outside-counsel management. Build scalable legal playbooks, templates, approval processes, and governance frameworks while advising senior leadership and the board across Dutch, US, and other international matters.

Leads automation and manufacturing systems for a greenfield semiconductor fabrication and assembly facility. Responsibilities include defining fab automation architecture, integrating process and metrology equipment, implementing MES workflows, establishing manufacturing data and analytics systems, supporting SPC and FDC, managing vendors and technical projects, and building an automation engineering team.

Designs RF and electromechanical components for 3D quantum processors, including PCBs, chip layouts, package-to-chip interconnects, and microwave systems. Responsibilities include RF simulation, impedance matching, insertion-loss and crosstalk analysis, RF testing with VNAs, CAD design, Python-based design automation, and automated design-rule checks. The role requires collaboration with simulation teams to validate and improve designs for high-density quantum hardware packaging.

Operate, maintain, and upgrade cryogenic measurement infrastructure for quantum processor R&D. Develop Python-based measurement, instrumentation-control, and automation routines; characterize superconducting-qubit prototypes; analyze performance data; conduct reliability studies; troubleshoot with design, fabrication, and measurement teams; and standardize documentation, data pipelines, and technical reporting.

Design and simulate Josephson travelling-wave parametric amplifiers (TWPAs), translate product specs into on‑chip TWPA architectures, improve bandwidth and noise performance, integrate peripheral functions, and present technical findings to influence product roadmap.

The Quantum Design Engineer will develop quantum chip design tools, manage design projects, and support Foundry customers in chip design, focusing on RF engineering and collaboration with fabrication teams.

The Quantum Design Engineer will design and optimize superconducting quantum processors and circuits, collaborating closely with teams to enhance performance and scalability.

Lead a small global sales team to grow revenue for QuantWare's quantum processors. Develop and execute sales plans, manage forecasting and negotiations, coordinate with Product, BD, and FAEs, and act as the voice of the customer to ensure delivery and product alignment. Recruit, mentor, and build a high-performing sales organization focused on long, complex government and research sales cycles.

Lead system-level architecture for quantum computing deployments, including parameterized full-stack QPU blueprints, MBSE tools, component libraries, and HPC-to-quantum interfaces. Define system models, trade-offs, hardware and software interfaces, supply chain requirements, and integration strategies. Collaborate with software teams, system integrators, QPU roadmap teams, ecosystem managers, and supply chain partners to deliver optimized, deployment-ready quantum computer designs.

Lead development of practical quantum applications by mapping enterprise use cases to quantum algorithms, estimating computational and hardware resources, and automating application-mapping workflows. Collaborate with software, systems engineering, and quantum hardware teams to translate algorithmic requirements into physical QPU specifications. Research quantum algorithms and error-correction developments while supporting circuit compilation, noise modeling, and implementation on physical quantum hardware.

Leads and scales multidisciplinary systems engineering teams responsible for commercial quantum hardware integration programs. Owns end-to-end delivery, partner co-design, ecosystem readiness, supplier compatibility, integration processes, and executive customer relationships. Partners with Business Development on technical feasibility, resourcing, and timelines while translating commercial objectives into high-performing physical systems.

Leads enterprise quantum application discovery and quantified business-case development, demonstrating ROI and utility-scale value to strategic partners. Builds and manages a senior team of quantum algorithm, applications, and solutions engineers; maintains executive technical relationships; develops repeatable business-case, application-development, and resource-estimation frameworks; and translates partner requirements into feedback for Product, Systems, and Business Development teams.

Lead and grow a team to own and deliver calibration software for quantum processors: set roadmap and milestones, architect modular software and HALs, establish production-grade engineering and testing practices, recruit and mentor senior engineers, and coordinate integrations with third parties.
