Support communicable disease surveillance by cleaning, managing, analyzing, and summarizing case investigation data (including H5N1 and tickborne diseases). Conduct case investigations, collect medical data, interview patients, perform data entry, assist with fieldwork, outreach, and education under supervision of the Zoonotic and Vectorborne Disease Unit.

Implement privacy-by-design and data risk management for DOHMH datasets: assess risks, apply mitigation (including differential privacy and synthetic data), operationalize confidentiality regulations, document methods, collaborate with stewards and engineers, and translate policy requirements into technical specifications and governance monitoring.

Perform manual and automated testing (functional, regression, integration, UAT); develop and execute test plans and cases; identify, document, and track defects; verify backend data with SQL; collaborate with developers and stakeholders; ensure projects meet quality standards and report testing status and results.

Lead strategic initiatives for the Center for Population Health Data Science, driving data modernization, AI readiness, funding strategies, multi-year planning, cross-team coordination, change management, and project execution to translate priorities into measurable outcomes.

Manage full contract lifecycle for federally, state, city, and privately funded public health programs: negotiate scopes and budgets, monitor contractor performance and spending, ensure funder compliance (e.g., 2 CFR 200), provide technical assistance, conduct site visits, and complete closeout and final reporting.

Provide in-person enrollment assistance for ABD and other populations: educate clients on benefits, complete and submit medical assistance and NYSOH applications (using EDITS/Bluemark where applicable), conduct outreach, canvassing, tabling, home visits, and weekly community engagement across NYC boroughs. Deliver bilingual (Spanish) support, attend mandatory trainings, and assist on special projects.

Monitor and analyze grant-funded program finances, update internal systems, prepare budget modifications, journal entries, and closeouts.
