Manage daily logistics operations for assigned customers, including forecasting, shipment coordination, exception resolution, customer communication, after-hours handoffs, billing support, auditing, and record maintenance. The role requires accurate processing of shipping requests, proactive resolution of delivery issues, and collaboration with customers, carriers, freight audit teams, and internal partners in a time-sensitive office environment.

Manages transportation customer accounts, daily operations, service performance, carrier relationships, load planning, TMS processes, and operational improvements. Leads and develops planning teams, manages account profitability, P&L, invoicing, collections, customer escalations, and service reviews. Supports carrier strategy, cost reduction, growth initiatives, and process improvement in a fast-paced logistics environment requiring occasional travel.

Leads cross-dock operations across the United States and Mexico, managing customer performance, third-party logistics providers, vendors, budgets, KPIs, SLAs, and cross-border automotive freight. Oversees WMS and TMS processes, capacity planning, audits, corrective actions, Lean and Six Sigma initiatives, SOP standardization, and cost reduction. Provides regional leadership while supporting safety, continuous improvement, operational efficiency, and service-level commitments.

Supervise cross-dock operations by processing WMS transactions, verifying freight and shipping documentation, coordinating loading and unloading with carriers and 3PL partners, resolving discrepancies and damaged shipments, and maintaining accurate records. The role monitors warehouse and dock activities, supports safe freight flow, and requires flexible first- or second-shift availability, including overtime and weekends.

Supervise cross-dock warehouse operations, including inbound receiving, outbound shipping, freight loading and unloading, WMS transactions, inventory verification, and documentation audits. Coordinate with carriers and third-party logistics providers, resolve shipping discrepancies and damaged freight, maintain shipping records and photographic evidence, and ensure safe, accurate freight flow. The role requires flexible scheduling, including overtime and weekends, in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Maintains quality management system documentation, conducts internal audits, tracks corrective actions, monitors quality metrics, prepares reports, supports continuous improvement, and assists with quality training. Partners with warehouse operations and cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues, standardize processes, and ensure customer and quality requirements are met in an operational warehouse environment.

Drive field sales for third-party logistics services by building a pipeline, prospecting shippers, closing new business, designing multimodal solutions, negotiating pricing, and achieving revenue and margin targets. The role sells freight brokerage, managed transportation, warehousing, fulfillment, and cross-border logistics, while partnering with pricing and operations and supporting account growth after handoff.

Source and secure carrier capacity for temperature-controlled produce across the U.S.; build and manage carrier relationships; negotiate rates; monitor market conditions; collaborate with operations to resolve service issues; onboard and vet carriers and track compliance and performance metrics to support profitable, on-time shipments.

Answer inbound calls and digital messages to coordinate scheduled and emergency maintenance between drivers, vendors, and internal teams. Create repair orders in Fleetio, negotiate vendor pricing, review estimates, authorize repairs, communicate status to stakeholders, and ensure DOT/FMCSA compliance. Provide daytime and occasional after-hours support.

Reviews driver medical questionnaires against DOT medical documentation, identifies discrepancies, escalates concerns, and maintains confidential records. Communicates with recruiting, orientation, and safety teams; assists with Hours-of-Service compliance, OSHA and DOT projects, reporting, and other EHS responsibilities. Requires strong attention to detail, organization, communication, confidentiality, Microsoft Office proficiency, independent work, and a four-year degree.

Lead recruiting and employee engagement functions for the company, build and execute hiring plans, develop recruiting policies and metrics, manage department operations, run programs (internships, temporary staffing), oversee onboarding and employee rewards, and drive culture, conflict resolution, and results across divisions.
