Lead electrical design for next-gen laser-based gas analyzers: analog front-ends, laser drivers, high-ENOB ADC/DAC, PCB lifecycle, prototyping, validation, component selection, cross-functional production ramp, and mentor engineers.

Build and maintain automated production test environments for embedded Linux instruments. Automate device identification, network boot, disk and filesystem setup, software installation, and test suites. Integrate calibration and configuration data with cloud systems, troubleshoot across hardware/software/network layers, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve production provisioning, testing, and recovery workflows.

Lead transition from in-house to outsourced manufacturing by analyzing make/buy/automate decisions, managing contract manufacturers, governing NetSuite inventory/BOM/WIP, driving production planning, test automation, DFM/DFT partnerships, and cross-functional coordination to reduce cost and scale operations.

Lead design and delivery of production systems, own technical direction, collaborate closely with product and leadership, iterate quickly, mentor peers, and apply sound architectural judgment in a hybrid Denver office.

Design, develop, and maintain firmware for microcontroller-based IoT laser spectroscopy sensors. Support hardware bring-up, debug prototypes, implement serial communications, maintain revision control and CI/CD, automate manufacturing test/configuration, document designs, and perform firmware failure analysis and improvements.
