Develop firmware for microcontroller-based IoT devices and laser spectroscopy sensors. Responsibilities include sensor communication development, board bring-up, firmware testing and failure analysis, prototype hardware debugging, manufacturing automation, documentation, revision control, and process improvements. The role requires embedded development with Rust and C++, serial communication protocols, Linux, Python, CI/CD, cloud platforms, and electronics test equipment.

Designs, debugs, and validates precision electronics for laser-based gas analyzers. Leads electrical architecture, analog front ends, laser drivers, ADC/DAC chains, PCB development, circuit simulation, prototyping, and production validation. Collaborates across software, mechanical, manufacturing, sales, and operations to deliver reliable products. Evaluates sensing technologies, supports continuous product improvement, mentors engineers, and guides complex R&D projects from concept through production.
