Directs the behavioral health facility’s Performance Improvement and Risk Management programs. Responsibilities include regulatory and accreditation compliance, inspections, audits, corrective action planning, root-cause analysis, committee coordination, patient complaint review, policy updates, incident investigations, peer review, records maintenance, and regulatory training. The role requires a bachelor’s degree, healthcare experience, strong compliance and communication skills, Microsoft Office proficiency, and up to 10% local travel.

Leads Clinical Aides on weekend shifts, coordinates staffing, supports patient safety and care, conducts searches and drug screens, facilitates patient activities, documents interactions in electronic medical records, assists with visits and emergencies, and maintains a safe treatment environment. Supervises 5–6 Clinical Aides and collaborates with nursing, admissions, human resources, and other departments in an addiction treatment setting.

Provides direct care and behavioral support to adult and adolescent patients with chemical dependency and co-occurring mental health disorders. Responsibilities include conducting rounds and searches, assisting with drug screens, supervising therapeutic activities, documenting patient interactions, maintaining safety and therapeutic boundaries, supporting daily living activities, communicating patient concerns, and assisting with infection control and emergency procedures.

Manages a behavioral health nursing unit, coordinating individualized patient care, staff supervision, scheduling, medication administration, infection control, emergency response, patient education, and compliance with nursing standards. Collaborates with medical staff, pharmacy, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, effective care. Supervises nurses, nursing assistants, students, and mental health technicians while supporting quality improvement and daily nursing operations.

Manages the utilization review department and supervises Treatment Engagement Specialists. Conducts concurrent reviews and prior authorizations for psychiatric and substance use treatment, applying medical necessity and ASAM criteria. Coordinates with clinical, finance, and payer teams; manages appeals, denials, documentation quality, authorization tracking, staff training, scheduling, and process development. Maintains payer relationships and ensures timely, accurate communication and compliance.

Provide direct patient care to adults with chemical dependency and co-occurring mental health disorders. Support unit programming, supervise therapeutic and recreational activities, conduct searches and drug screens, document interactions, maintain safety and infection control, communicate patient issues to clinical staff, and assist in training new employees.

Conduct concurrent continued-stay reviews for psychiatric and residential substance-use clients using ASAM and medical necessity criteria; coordinate authorizations, appeals, and denial logs; communicate with treatment teams, payers, and finance; track documentation and educate staff on criteria and documentation quality.

Provide campus safety and security at a drug and alcohol treatment center: greet visitors, screen for contraband, monitor fire panels, perform environmental rounds, de-escalate incidents, assist with admissions paperwork, liaise with emergency services, and communicate patient issues to staff while maintaining confidentiality.
