Responsibilities include C/C++ embedded development with RTOS and communication interfaces, C#/C++ Windows therapy console development using .NET or Qt, GUI implementation, unit testing, and test automation. The role collaborates with software, hardware, and clinical teams to expand the platform and support new clinical applications.

Investigate failures in complex medical devices across hardware, software, firmware, mechanical, MRI, and ultrasound subsystems. Reproduce failures, analyze logs and sensor data, perform root cause analysis, develop safe interim workarounds, and communicate findings. The role supports complaint handling, adverse-event evaluation, CAPA, risk-management updates, supplier investigations, and corrective-action verification while ensuring regulatory and patient-safety requirements are met.

Manage end-to-end Canadian and U.S. payroll, including employee changes, benefits, deductions, commissions, reconciliations, tax filings, reporting, controls, and year-end activities. Coordinate international payroll updates with local providers, maintain data integrity across HR, payroll, finance, benefits, and equity systems, and support implementations, integrations, testing, migrations, audits, and process improvements. Provide employee support and collaborate with HR, Finance, Sales Operations, vendors, and external payroll partners.

Supports financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, long-range planning, variance analysis, KPI reporting, scenario modeling, and strategic decision-making. Develops financial models, dashboards, and automated reporting by integrating ERP, CRM, manufacturing, and operational data. Partners with leaders across commercial, manufacturing, clinical, R&D, and corporate functions to assess performance, resource allocation, liquidity, investments, and growth initiatives. Improves FP&A processes, governance, reporting efficiency, and data-driven insights.

Provides administrative and logistical support for conferences, meetings, and events. Coordinates travel, shipping, schedules, invoices, expenses, speaker and consultant records, event documentation, marketing materials, communications, and contact databases. Collaborates with internal teams to prepare and execute events and provides on-site support as needed. This is a five-month contract role requiring occasional travel.

Sell the TULSA-Pro system to hospitals and imaging centers within an assigned territory. Build clinical and administrative support, manage the complex capital procurement process, maintain a robust sales pipeline, close new program installations, negotiate contracts, transition installations to account management, and support credentialing and program launch. High travel (approx. 80%) expected.

Supports adoption and use of the TULSA-PRO MRI-guided therapeutic ultrasound system by guiding physicians and staff during procedures, assisting with patient selection and treatment planning, reviewing outcomes, troubleshooting field issues, and educating clinical teams. Partners with engineering, sales, and marketing teams to test improvements, support new sites, and represent customer needs. Requires MRI expertise, medical device experience, strong communication skills, and complete travel availability.

Design and deliver high-quality WPF-based medical device software. Lead architecture, implement complex modules, ensure code quality with unit tests and CI, leverage AI tools with human oversight, execute integration/system testing, maintain documentation, troubleshoot issues, and mentor junior developers.

Support adoption of the TULSA-PRO MRI-guided prostate ablation system by educating and mentoring clinical teams, guiding procedures, troubleshooting field issues, assisting patient selection and planning, performing post-treatment reviews, and providing engineering and commercial feedback to improve device use and outcomes.

Lead and maintain the production Quality Management System to ensure manufacturing, receiving, shipping, and reverse logistics meet regulatory and product specifications. Oversee incoming, in-process, and final inspections, testing, DHR/batch record review, release decisions, supplier quality, CAPA/RCA, audits, and test method validation while ensuring compliance with ISO 13485, FDA QSR, IEC standards, and related regulations.

Manage full lifecycle implementation and optimization of TULSA-PRO® programs at clinical sites. Build physician and hospital relationships, coordinate cross-functional teams, support training, track clinical and financial performance, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive utilization, upgrades, and program growth.

Design and develop mixed-signal electronics for medical devices, own electrical specifications and verification, perform circuit analysis and simulation, debug system-level issues, guide PCB layout, bring up and characterize prototypes, and support design control, regulatory documentation, and manufacturing transfer.

Manage clinical trial operations from startup to closeout including site management, SIV/IMV/closeout visits, TMF maintenance, source data review/verification, safety reporting, site training, data and quality oversight, risk identification/mitigation, and regulatory/GCP compliance. Engage sites, review contracts/budgets/ethics submissions, and drive process improvements to ensure inspection-ready documentation and trial integrity.
