Lead the engineering department to develop, validate and launch metal stamping processes through PPAP and mass production. Provide technical customer support, oversee tool room operations, drive continuous improvement, manage capital projects, and recruit/mentor engineering and tool room staff.

Manage projects to design, build, install, and test electrical control systems and panels for hydraulic presses. Develop/modify PLC/HMI/DB code, troubleshoot equipment, provide technical support across departments, and travel occasionally.

Perform and maintain ISO/TS 16949 quality systems, conduct process and supplier audits, analyze SPC and capability data, lead MSA and corrective actions, and assist in training production and quality staff for continual improvement.

Set up and operate manual machining equipment (lathe, mill, grinder, drill press) to produce tooling components from prints and routings. Perform complex machining, threading, in-process inspection using precision measuring tools, follow maintenance and quality procedures (ISO/TS 16949), train others, complete time reports, and participate in continuous improvement.

Support customer quality needs, manage PPAP and APQP activities, perform supplier and internal audits, lead root cause/8D problem solving, review statistical data, and drive continual improvement in a stamping/manufacturing environment.
