The role also involves field research, survey design, workflow automation, staff training, and feasibility analysis for technology-driven agricultural services.

Lead PxD’s launch and early growth in the Philippines, establishing local operations, government and donor partnerships, funding initiatives, and evidence-based agricultural programs. Manage program design, delivery, impact measurement, budgets, vendors, compliance, hiring, and multidisciplinary teams. Represent PxD with senior stakeholders, adapt digital services to the local market, support fundraising and communications, and build the systems and institutional knowledge needed to scale the country program.

Leads rigorous research and evidence-based digital agriculture programs in the Philippines. Manages research design, field activities, data management, analysis, experiments, stakeholder partnerships, and program refinement. Translates evidence into operational improvements and government engagements, ensures research ethics and protocol compliance, mentors staff, supports communications and funding proposals, and contributes to long-term agricultural service systems.

Manage the delivery and scale-up of PxD’s Weather initiative in Ethiopia. The role focuses on government relations, partner coordination, alignment across weather-information channels, implementation planning, stakeholder engagement, reporting, and program learning. The manager will coordinate multidisciplinary teams, support rollout and adaptation of advisory services, track performance, and represent PxD with government institutions and partners. Fluency in Amharic and English, Ethiopia government experience, and willingness to travel domestically are required.

The Program Manager will translate weather forecasting science into actionable information for internal teams, policymakers, practitioners, and government partners. Responsibilities include understanding forecast models, uncertainty, skill metrics, and data constraints; preparing reports, presentations, and policy briefs; coordinating technical partners and stakeholders; and ensuring program decisions accurately reflect scientific capabilities and limitations. The role also involves managing multiple workstreams in support of climate adaptation, digital agriculture, and farmer-focused development programs.

Manages technical translation and coordination for a weather forecasting initiative. Develops enough expertise in forecast models, uncertainty, skill metrics, and data constraints to explain capabilities and limitations to internal teams, scientific partners, policymakers, and government stakeholders. Produces reports, presentations, and policy briefs; coordinates scientific and program teams; and supports evidence-based decisions involving climate adaptation, digital agriculture, and farmer services.

Manages research and service-delivery projects, translates evidence into operational improvements, oversees research ethics and permissions, and engages government and implementation partners. The role also mentors staff, contributes to proposals and communications, supports knowledge management, and helps scale sustainable digital services for smallholder farmers.

Support design and implementation of field research: data cleaning, descriptive and simple regression analysis, survey instrument drafting, enumerator training, IRB support, literature reviews, documentation, and communications. Assist with institutional knowledge, partner relations, and proposal/report contributions under moderate supervision.
