Supports tax compliance preparation, corporate tax calculations, document review, and related accounting duties. The intern learns tax department software, follows firm policies and professional standards, protects confidential client information, and collaborates with engagement teams. This part-time, in-office internship runs from January through the tax deadline and includes mentorship, training, and potential future full-time or summer opportunities.

Assist with preparing and electronically filing federal and state tax returns, extensions, estimated tax payments, household employer payroll filings, and IRS or state notices. Maintain tax refund ledgers, client deadline databases, reporting system data, and gain/loss comparisons. Organize tax documents and coordinate printing, mailing, and client delivery of tax returns and vouchers.

Oversee complex tax engagements for high-net-worth individuals, families, trusts, estates, and business entities. Responsibilities include preparing and reviewing federal, state, and international tax returns, tax planning, research, audits, client communications, staff supervision, training, deadlines, and business development. The role requires CPA or EA credentials, accounting education, and substantial public accounting experience across individual, corporate, and partnership taxation.

Oversee international tax engagements for multinational clients, including planning, structuring, compliance, tax calculations, audits, research, and advisory projects. Review complex U.S., multi-state, and international returns; manage deadlines, staff deliverables, and global advisors. Provide technical guidance on international tax law, identify tax savings opportunities, communicate with clients and tax authorities, support business development, and mentor employees.
