Coordinate development, validation, and testing of internal combustion engine systems for power generation. Design and execute component/system durability tests, analyze data with statistical tools, translate customer requirements into technical solutions, collaborate across mechanical/electrical/simulation/controls teams, lead small projects and 8D root-cause investigations, and support production readiness and regulatory validation with occasional inter-facility travel.

Support month-end general ledger close with emphasis on cost accounting: prepare journal entries, reconciliations, maintain standard costs in Epicor, analyze cost allocations, produce ad-hoc financial reports, assist audits, document policies, and help implement SOX controls and other accounting projects.

Lead and develop multidisciplinary engineering staff to plan, design, and deliver complex power-generation packages. Oversee technical reviews, project execution, budgets, compliance, safety, process improvements, cross-functional collaboration, customer-facing technical discussions, and reporting to senior management.

Support sales by developing conceptual designs and preliminary cost estimates for custom power packages. Coordinate with sales, vendors, and cross-functional engineering teams to ensure designs meet technical requirements, compliance, and budget/schedule targets. Assist in customer calls, scope non-catalog solutions, and identify efficiency and product-improvement opportunities.

Lead technical and programmatic oversight of enclosure systems for gas and diesel generator packages. Own design development, validation, product launches, documentation release, cost/schedule control, cross-functional coordination, supplier and customer engagement, continuous improvement, and engineering resource planning for multiple concurrent programs.

Lead site quality functions for packaged genset manufacturing, maintaining ISO 9001 systems, driving supplier and field quality, implementing control plans and SPC, conducting root cause analysis (8D, 5-Why), and partnering with Engineering, Operations, and Supply Chain to improve yield, reduce defects, and ensure customer satisfaction.

Coordinate and develop component and system validation tests for internal combustion engines. Set up instrumentation and DAQ, execute test plans, analyze data, author procedures/reports, and support calibration and validation teams. Specify and procure test equipment, develop test automation and integrations (LabVIEW, ComAp, PLC), lead small projects, and follow safety procedures while occasionally traveling to other PSI facilities.

Manage month-end close, prepare journal entries and reconciliations, maintain ledgers, produce financial statements and ad-hoc reports, support SOX/internal controls and audits, and mentor junior accountants.

Design and test electrical systems for diesel/gas generators, produce AutoCAD Electrical schematics and BOMs, ensure NEC/UL compliance, support field troubleshooting, and assist production and product development within cost and safety constraints.

Support the Controller in financial reporting, month/quarter/year-end close, supervising finance staff, improving controls and processes, managing audits, budgeting, AR resolution, and cost-reduction initiatives.

Lead development and maintenance of BOMs, routings, standard work, and ERP integration to ensure manufacturing readiness, process stability, and cost visibility. Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Quality, and Supply Chain to support NPI, optimize plant layout and tooling, drive Lean continuous improvement, and mentor junior engineers while ensuring safety and compliance.
