Lead finance and accounting for Wisconsin manufacturing facilities, overseeing month-end close, cost accounting, budgeting, forecasting, inventory and capital tracking. Partner with plant and operations leadership to analyze performance, drive cost efficiency, maintain SOX/GAAP controls, support audits, produce financial statements and reports to the parent company, and build a high-performing accounting team.

Process vendor invoices, check requests, and employee expense reports; match invoices to receiving documents and post into Epicor; maintain AP reports and files; assist month-end close, audits, and payable schedules; support Senior AP Supervisor and perform other duties as assigned.

Support new product development for power generation enclosures: design 3D models and 2D drawings, create BOMs, lead technical projects, mentor junior staff, and ensure manufacturability and safety compliance.

Support sales by developing conceptual designs and preliminary cost estimates for custom power packages. Coordinate with sales, vendors, and cross-functional engineering teams to ensure designs meet technical requirements, compliance, and budget/schedule targets. Assist in customer calls, scope non-catalog solutions, and identify efficiency and product-improvement opportunities.

Lead and develop multidisciplinary engineering staff to plan, design, and deliver complex power-generation packages. Oversee technical reviews, project execution, budgets, compliance, safety, process improvements, cross-functional collaboration, customer-facing technical discussions, and reporting to senior management.

Lead site quality functions for packaged genset manufacturing, maintaining ISO 9001 systems, driving supplier and field quality, implementing control plans and SPC, conducting root cause analysis (8D, 5-Why), and partnering with Engineering, Operations, and Supply Chain to improve yield, reduce defects, and ensure customer satisfaction.

Oversee end-to-end order fulfillment and shipment coordination, act as primary customer contact, resolve order/shipping issues, lead cross-functional projects to optimize processes, and report performance metrics to senior leadership.

Lead development and maintenance of BOMs, routings, standard work, and ERP integration to ensure manufacturing readiness, process stability, and cost visibility. Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Quality, and Supply Chain to support NPI, optimize plant layout and tooling, drive Lean continuous improvement, and mentor junior engineers while ensuring safety and compliance.

Lead technical and programmatic oversight of enclosure systems for gas and diesel generator packages. Own design development, validation, product launches, documentation release, cost/schedule control, cross-functional coordination, supplier and customer engagement, continuous improvement, and engineering resource planning for multiple concurrent programs.

Design and test electrical systems for diesel/gas generators, produce AutoCAD Electrical schematics and BOMs, ensure NEC/UL compliance, support field troubleshooting, and assist production and product development within cost and safety constraints.

Support the Controller in financial reporting, month/quarter/year-end close, supervising finance staff, improving controls and processes, managing audits, budgeting, AR resolution, and cost-reduction initiatives.

Coordinate development, validation, and testing of internal combustion engine systems for power generation. Design and execute component/system durability tests, analyze data with statistical tools, translate customer requirements into technical solutions, collaborate across mechanical/electrical/simulation/controls teams, lead small projects and 8D root-cause investigations, and support production readiness and regulatory validation with occasional inter-facility travel.

Lead development and management of safety programs to meet OSHA and state regulations. Conduct audits, inspections, and investigations; deliver training; manage workers' compensation and return-to-work; analyze safety data and report metrics; support hazardous materials, fire prevention, and regulatory compliance in a manufacturing environment.

Lead development and maintenance of BOMs, routings, standard work, and ERP manufacturing data to ensure production readiness. Drive process optimization, tooling, plant layout, NPI support, and continuous improvement (Lean, 5S, Kaizen). Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Quality, and Supply Chain, mentor junior engineers, and ensure safety and compliance in a heavy manufacturing environment.

Manage month-end close, prepare journal entries and reconciliations, produce financial statements and ad-hoc reports, analyze costs and revenues, maintain ledger accuracy, support SOX/internal controls and audits, and mentor junior accountants.
