Provide comprehensive perioperative care for cardiothoracic surgery patients including first/second assisting in complex cases (CABG, valve), endoscopic radial and saphenous vein harvesting, invasive procedures (chest tubes, central lines, Swan-Ganz, IABP), bedside robotic assistance, and ICU/floor management. Work on-site at the SF VA operating room two days per week.

Provide direct psychiatric care in an ICE detention facility, including medication management, psychotherapy, telepsychiatry, emergency response and on-call coverage. Coordinate care with primary providers, document treatment plans, participate in quality improvement, maintain confidentiality and complete required competencies and training.

Provide expert renal pathology services including kidney biopsy interpretation, reference and laboratory testing with 24-hour turnaround, clinical consultations, review of clinical history, and perform/supervise autopsies ensuring consent and communication with clinical teams.

Perform installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems across the hospital, including switchgear, transformers, emergency power, motors, HVAC, alarms, and medical equipment. Conduct preventive maintenance, modify circuits and conduits, use diagnostic instruments, ensure NEC compliance and safety while working with voltages up to 4160V.

PRN/locum Board Certified Clinical Perfusionist providing perfusion and on-call backup for cardiac surgeries (420 hours/year: 320 clinical, 100 on-call). Prepare, operate, and maintain heart-lung machines, membrane oxygenation, IABP and VAD support; assemble supplies and operate VA-owned equipment. Must be local and have 5+ years' experience and ABCP certification.

Provide onsite diagnostic radiology services including reviewing imaging orders, selecting modalities/protocols, supervising imaging staff, interpreting studies, managing procedural complications, participating in quality improvement and radiation safety, and educating staff while adhering to ALARA and VA standards.

Provide inpatient and outpatient gastroenterology care at Boise VAMC, coordinate care with health team, perform diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures, manage patient education, and fulfill limited administrative duties.

Provide onsite cardiothoracic surgical care at the San Juan VA Medical Center, including inpatient/outpatient/ED evaluations, operative and post‑operative management, pacemaker procedures, pericardial surgeries, backup for interventional cardiology/PCI, scheduled elective cases, 24‑hour on‑call coverage per schedule, and participation in weekly case meetings.

Provide inpatient and outpatient hematology/oncology consultation, diagnosis, treatment, procedures, and patient/family education. Cover telephonic, evening, weekend, and holiday on-call responsibilities. Document clinical notes timely and perform administrative duties as assigned by Chief of Medicine.

Provide inpatient and outpatient gastroenterology care at a VA medical center, diagnose and manage GI conditions, perform diagnostic and therapeutic GI procedures, coordinate with care teams, handle administrative duties, and educate patients and families.

Provide direct psychiatric care including medication management, psychotherapy, telepsychiatry, emergency evaluations, documentation, performance improvement participation, and mental health consultation within IHSC scope. Maintain licensure, certifications, competencies, and participate in on-call rotations and facility safety/quality programs.

Provide inpatient and outpatient hematology/oncology consultation and treatment, perform procedures, evaluate and order diagnostics, document clinical notes, educate patients and families, and support other services per Chief of Medicine.
