Supports dental hygienists by preparing and sanitizing hygiene rooms, sterilizing instruments, taking X-rays, assisting with chart notes, and helping patients feel comfortable. The role requires dental assisting certification as required by the state and active CPR certification or willingness to obtain it. Dental experience, X-ray and coronal polishing certification, organization, communication, and teamwork are preferred, with on-the-job training provided.
