Provides strategic coordination and execution support to the Chief Advancement Officer across fundraising campaigns, donor strategies, communications, Board engagement, and organizational initiatives. Leads cross-departmental planning, tracks goals and deliverables, prepares executive reports, develops performance dashboards, supports donor cultivation, and manages high-priority projects and campaign materials.

Coordinates advancement operations, fundraising projects, donor stewardship, communications, events, and partnership activities. Maintains project timelines, donor records, databases, meeting schedules, and reporting. Prepares donor materials, presentations, acknowledgments, and briefing documents while supporting board committee meetings and executive needs. Manages event logistics, sponsorship tracking, vendor coordination, and post-event follow-up. The role requires strong organization, communication, discretion, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a hybrid nonprofit environment.

Manages the financial lifecycle of government and private grants, including budgets, invoicing, financial reporting, compliance, reconciliations, audits, forecasting, and award closeout. Monitors spending, identifies disallowed costs, supports budget modifications, maintains accurate records, and collaborates with accounting and program stakeholders to strengthen fiscal oversight and grants-management processes.

Support payroll processing and maintain HRIS (Paycom) data integrity. Review timesheets, process payroll and garnishments, generate HR/payroll reports, assist audits, provide HRIS training and troubleshooting, manage employee lifecycle data, and support HR/finance collaboration and process improvements.

Lead grants and contracts accounting functions, supervise and train Grants & Contracts Accountants, review and approve vouchers/invoices, develop and reconcile contract budgets, monitor spending and forecast risks, manage compliance with government funders, prepare audit documentation including the SEFA, and improve workflows and tracking to ensure allowable costs and accurate reporting.

Oversee elementary afterschool programming; supervise and hire part-time staff; implement SEL, mental health, and inclusion supports; ensure compliance with SACC, DYCD and other funder requirements; build partnerships with schools, NYPD and community groups; collect/analyze program data; plan events; assist with grant development; provide onsite mediation and crisis response.
