20-week stipend internship for NYC residents ages 16-19. Ten-week work readiness workshops followed by an internal or external internship placement. Interns assist worksite staff and must be team-oriented, adaptable, communicative, and willing to attend scheduled workshops.

Coordinates a Summer Youth Employment Program contract, including staff supervision, participant recruitment and enrollment, worksite development, compliance, records, payroll, training, monitoring, and incident management. Builds employer and community partnerships, oversees daily operations and contract deliverables, resolves stakeholder concerns, and supports year-round workforce development initiatives for youth.

Monitor youth employment participants across multiple worksites, conduct daily assessments, maintain timesheets and participant files, collect evaluations, and ensure safe supportive environments. Facilitate virtual assignments, assist with classroom attendance and management, accompany participant trips, prepare audit documents, and attend meetings and trainings. The role requires frequent public-transit travel, strong communication and organization, conflict mediation, confidentiality, computer proficiency, and occasional evening or weekend availability.
