Responsibilities include configuring and troubleshooting testers, probers, instrumentation, fixtures, and interfaces; investigating failures; analyzing test data and wafer-level yield; supporting corrective actions; commissioning new test systems; and developing test methods, scripts, and automation tools. The role collaborates with Test Development, Product, and Process Engineering teams to improve yield, reliability, test time, and equipment utilization.

Lead development, optimization, and production support for III-AsP MOCVD epitaxy processes. Develop advanced device structures, run DOE studies, analyze material characterization data, troubleshoot reactors, establish robust process windows, and transfer R&D processes into high-volume manufacturing. Provide technical direction, contribute to technology roadmaps and intellectual property, collaborate with device and manufacturing teams, and mentor epitaxy engineers.

Leads VCSEL and surface-emitting laser technology development from concept through proof-of-concept and manufacturing transfer. Responsibilities include device architecture, modelling, simulation, prototype fabrication, characterization, performance optimization, IP generation, manufacturability assessment, and technical roadmap development. The role mentors multidisciplinary teams and collaborates with R&D, manufacturing, suppliers, customers, and academic partners on emerging photonic technologies including microLEDs and optical interconnects.

Develop and optimize semiconductor fabrication processes for MicroLED and optical interconnect products. Responsibilities include defining process architecture and modules, improving pixel performance, planning experiments, analyzing data, conducting risk assessments and design reviews, specifying new tooling and process recipes, and presenting recommendations to management. The role is approximately 60% hands-on cleanroom work and 40% experimental planning, analysis, and cross-functional communication.

Lead architecture and development of next-generation optical interconnects spanning ASICs, SerDes, photonics, optical engines, packaging, and system interfaces. Define link architectures, electrical and optical specifications, budgets, performance requirements, and technology roadmaps. Evaluate silicon photonics, co-packaged optics, optical I/O, emitters, receivers, and advanced packaging. Collaborate across semiconductor and photonics teams, support prototypes and validation, and assess technologies through production readiness.

The Senior Equipment Engineer will monitor high-tech equipment performance, ensure maintenance, participate in tool selection, provide technical support, and optimize equipment reliability.
