Own the user experience and growth of Plasmidsaurus's non-biology web application. Responsibilities include interviewing researchers, translating customer feedback into product roadmaps, improving onboarding, collaboration, payments, logistics tracking, account settings, email, internationalization, workspaces, and sharing. The role also focuses on analytics, identifying workflow drop-offs, running experiments, prototyping, and partnering closely with engineering teams to deliver customer-focused improvements.

Provides Tier 1–2 technical support to scientists using sequencing services. Responsibilities include responding to inquiries, interpreting scientific information, troubleshooting sequencing issues, monitoring outputs, maintaining CRM records, escalating complex cases, and improving workflows and documentation. The role requires a biology-related degree, sequencing or molecular biology experience, strong communication and problem-solving skills, and customer service ability. It is hybrid in Cologne with occasional weekend coverage.

Manage global month-end close, accounts payable, inventory accounting, foreign entity accounting, and financial reporting across US, European, and Asian subsidiaries. Own Rillet ERP, revenue recognition, lease accounting, stock-based compensation, audit readiness, statutory compliance, and accounting documentation. Partner with the Controller, auditors, local accounting firms, procurement, AR, and offshore accounting teams while building scalable processes and developing the accounting function.

Manage Plasmidsaurus' plasmid sequencing portfolio by engaging with customers, driving product strategy, and collaborating across teams for successful product lifecycle management.

Proactively source and build long-term relationships with exceptional engineering talent, partner with engineering leaders to map talent markets, expand networks across communities and open-source ecosystems, and create scalable sourcing systems using automation and AI to deliver strategic hiring advantages.

Lead strategy and roadmap for microbial sequencing products (bacterial, yeast, metagenomics, microbiome). Conduct customer discovery, build business cases, partner with R&D, labs, sales and marketing to launch and grow sequencing services that drive revenue, adoption, and customer satisfaction.

Lead and manage the compute, data, AI, and security infrastructure for sequencing operations, overseeing core services and system designs.

The Head of Logistics will lead a global logistics function, develop logistics systems, ensure compliance, build partnerships, and manage a team for efficient shipment operations.
