Own the architecture, development, integration, testing, qualification, and flight operations of spacecraft flight software. Lead real-time embedded software, command and telemetry, GNC and autonomy integration, fault management, safety mechanisms, and hardware/software bring-up. Establish verification infrastructure and engineering processes while partnering across avionics and other vehicle disciplines. Build and lead the flight software organization, mentor engineers, make system-level tradeoffs, and help shape the company’s technical roadmap and culture.

Own end-to-end mechanical and structural design for flight-grade space hardware, including concept development, CAD, analysis, prototyping, qualification, integration, and deployment. Perform trade studies, tolerance analyses, FEA, requirements definition, and verification planning. Build and test prototypes, resolve failures, and collaborate with controls, software, avionics, autonomy, and manufacturing teams. Help shape the company’s engineering culture, processes, and technical roadmap.

Own the GNC architecture for autonomous spacecraft rendezvous and proximity operations, including guidance algorithms, trajectory design, navigation, control, simulation, hardware and processor-in-the-loop testing, flight software, fault handling, and verification. Lead cross-functional technical decisions, build engineering processes, mentor and hire engineers, integrate GNC hardware, and guide systems from concept through flight operations.
