Executive financial leader responsible for company-wide financial strategy, accounting, construction accounting, budgeting, forecasting, risk management, purchasing, fleet oversight, capital allocation, payroll compliance, and financial reporting. Partners with executive leadership, external financial stakeholders, and department managers to improve profitability, control costs, strengthen systems, and support sustainable growth.

Leads daily accounting operations, full-cycle accounting, month-end and year-end close, financial reporting, cash flow management, budgeting, construction job costing, WIP reporting, payroll, audits, compliance, and accounting team development. Partners with leadership and operational teams to improve processes, manage financial risks, and support company growth toward a future Controller role.

Supports accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, certified payroll, project billing, reconciliations, month-end close, and accounting records. Processes invoices, payments, vendor documentation, customer collections, employee payroll, and compliance reports using Sage and ExakTime. Communicates with project managers about job costs and billing, maintains accurate files, and provides administrative support. The role requires strong organization, spreadsheet skills, accuracy, and deadline management.

Lead the Accounting and Finance Department, overseeing full-cycle accounting, AP, AR, payroll, compliance, month-end and year-end close. Manage cash flow, budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, construction job costing, WIP, and cost-to-complete analysis. Coordinate audits, tax preparation, insurance renewals, union reporting, and payroll compliance. Develop the accounting team, strengthen controls and processes, and provide financial guidance to company leadership, with potential advancement to CFO.

Provide administrative support to the Client Relations team: maintain Salesforce data, coordinate opportunities and bid processes, organize events and client meetings, manage team calendar, and collaborate cross-departmentally to ensure timely project execution and strong client service.
