Lead security research from hypothesis through production, developing LLM- and program-analysis-based vulnerability detection, triage, and remediation capabilities. Design datasets, benchmarks, and evaluation pipelines; investigate vulnerabilities across cloud, containers, microservices, APIs, and LLM applications; build the vulnerability and remediation corpus; and partner with engineering to ship validated product features. Set the research agenda, maintain quality standards, publish findings, and communicate security insights to technical and business audiences.

Build and maintain polished, accessible frontend experiences for an agentic security platform using TypeScript, React, and Next.js. Develop dashboards, workflows, forms, tables, and data-heavy interfaces; integrate type-safe data access; manage application and URL state; write frontend tests; and improve architecture, accessibility, and maintainability. Collaborate with product, design, backend, and security teams in a fast-paced, onsite startup environment.

Own the roadmap and lifecycle for Pi.Security’s agentic product security platform. Conduct customer discovery, define product requirements and trust standards for autonomous agents, evaluate model quality, shape integrations with developer workflows, prototype with AI coding tools, and establish scalable product practices. Partner with engineering, security researchers, sales, marketing, founders, and enterprise customers to drive adoption, retention, and measurable customer outcomes.

Build and maintain scalable AI agents, pipelines, and services; improve infrastructure for running, evaluating, and monitoring agents; collaborate with product and security teams on AI-powered security features; and evaluate emerging LLM and agent technologies for product use.

Leads Pi Security’s engineering organization and technical execution at an early-stage security startup. Responsibilities include owning the engineering roadmap, making architectural decisions, writing and reviewing code, hiring and mentoring engineers, establishing scalable engineering practices, and guiding backend, AI/ML, integrations, and security-focused platform development. The role partners with founders and customers and is fully onsite in San Francisco.

Own product design for security workflows, dashboards, investigations, remediation, and an AI assistant. Translate complex technical contexts into clear, trustworthy interfaces; create flows, prototypes, and polished UI; collaborate closely with product and engineering; conduct customer research and usability testing; and help evolve design systems and visual patterns for a fast-moving startup.

Own product positioning, messaging, competitive intelligence, field enablement, and go-to-market support for Pi’s cybersecurity platform. Translate complex product capabilities into compelling customer-facing content, support launches, engage directly with customers and prospects, and help define the product security category. Partner cross-functionally with product, sales, customer success, and technical teams in a hands-on startup environment.
