Leads the scale-up and expansion of rare earth metals manufacturing operations, owning safety, throughput, yield, quality, reliability, cost, and productivity. Builds manufacturing teams and establishes production standards, Lean and Six Sigma systems, planning, maintenance, workforce development, and continuous improvement processes. Drives production readiness, capacity expansion, process industrialization, constraint elimination, and technology transfer from engineering into repeatable, high-throughput commercial operations across current and future facilities.

Leads major engineering and capital projects from early development through EPCM execution, construction, commissioning, startup, and operational handoff. Establishes governance, project controls, commercial discipline, risk management, and technical standards while overseeing contractors, suppliers, budgets, schedules, and quality. Builds an internal engineering projects organization and partners with process development, manufacturing, operations, and leadership to deliver safe, reliable, scalable rare earth production facilities.

Build and maintain advanced financial models for operating plans, capital projects, and strategic decisions. Lead forecasts, scenario and sensitivity analysis, variance reporting, unit economics, capital returns, dashboards, and reporting automation. Support board, investor, and lender reporting while partnering with Accounting to maintain consistent ledger-aligned definitions. Translate operating data into clear recommendations for leadership and improve analytical tools and reporting processes.

Own the accounting function for a high-growth manufacturing company, including financial close, GAAP policies, internal controls, audits, tax compliance, external reporting, cost accounting, and ERP systems. Lead and develop the accounting team, build scalable processes for multi-site production, and partner with FP&A, operations, and supply chain. Ensure accurate accounting for inventory, manufacturing costs, government-funded programs, and grants.

Lead the scale-up and continuous improvement of rare earth metals manufacturing processes and production systems. Own equipment architecture, specifications, commissioning, qualification, validation, ramp-up, and sustaining engineering. Drive root-cause analysis, process optimization, capability assessments, and data-based capacity improvements. Build and develop the manufacturing engineering team, establish technical standards, and guide engineering decisions supporting reliable, safe, scalable production.

Develops and improves manufacturing processes for critical metals production at the Exeter facility. Designs tooling, fixtures, equipment modifications, and practical manufacturing solutions; troubleshoots production-floor issues; identifies root causes; documents repeatable procedures; and supports equipment specification, installation, commissioning, qualification, and improvement. The role is hands-on and focused on increasing throughput, reliability, safety, quality, and scalability.

Own and improve complex manufacturing processes, equipment, and scale-up initiatives for critical metals production. Lead tooling and equipment development, commissioning, qualification, troubleshooting, root-cause investigations, process validation, production data analysis, and design-for-manufacturing decisions. Drive improvements in throughput, yield, reliability, quality, safety, cost, and production readiness while serving as a technical resource in a hands-on manufacturing environment.

Own and improve manufacturing processes for critical metals production. Design tooling, fixtures, equipment modifications, and production solutions; troubleshoot complex manufacturing issues; conduct root-cause analysis; analyze production data; translate new technologies into scalable manufacturing methods; support equipment installation, commissioning, qualification, ramp-up, engineering trials, and process validation.

Operate and optimize commercial rare earth metal production systems, improving throughput, yield, quality, reliability, and safety. Lead root-cause investigations, corrective actions, process scale-up, commissioning, SOP development, operator training, and continuous improvement initiatives. Serve as the technical escalation point for production issues, mentor operators and junior engineers, and collaborate with R&D, materials, and chemical engineering teams in a hands-on production-floor environment.

Operate and support daily production of rare-earth and critical metals at a first-of-kind facility. Responsibilities include monitoring processes, adjusting equipment, troubleshooting mechanical issues, verifying quality, analyzing production data, supporting process scale-up, improving safety and throughput, performing system startups and shutdowns, developing procedures, and collaborating with operators and plant leadership. The role requires hands-on industrial production experience and safe operation of manufacturing equipment.

Hands-on production engineer embedded on the production floor to operate and monitor equipment, perform in-process checks, collect and analyze production data, troubleshoot mechanical issues, support startups/shutdowns and new process implementation, and drive continuous improvement and safety.
