Owns annual budgeting, recurring forecasting, operating-model maintenance, cash and runway analysis, variance reporting, KPI tracking, and board or investor materials. Partners with department leaders on headcount, spending, and vendor decisions while improving planning processes and reconciling plans with Accounting. The role requires strong financial modeling, executive communication, and business-partnering skills in a high-growth, capital-intensive environment.

Own accounting for capital projects and government-funded programs, including capital expenditure tracking, construction-in-progress schedules, capitalization, fixed assets, grant cost tracking, project reporting, close activities, reconciliations, and audit support. Partner with project managers, engineers, and procurement to ensure accurate cost capture and documentation compliance.

Own monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes; manage daily accounting operations, reconciliations, journal entries, accruals, audits, and tax support. Lead accounting staff, improve and document procedures and controls, partner with operations and procurement, and support ERP automation. The role requires strong technical accounting knowledge, GAAP expertise, manufacturing or high-growth experience, and ownership of month-end close activities.
