Lead hands-on development, optimization, and scale-up of hydrometallurgical processes (leaching, purification, solvent extraction, filtration, crystallization). Translate lab results to pilot/commercial designs, size equipment, troubleshoot process issues, develop pilot test plans and operating procedures, and mentor junior engineers and technicians.

Lead design, testing, and validation of electrical power and instrumentation systems for critical metals processing. Develop architectures, calculations, schematics, wiring, and documentation; build, commission, and troubleshoot equipment; turn early concepts into full engineering projects; create strategic engineering plans; and mentor early-career engineers to accelerate deployment of sustainable processing infrastructure.

Design, build, test, validate, and commission mechanical systems for high-temperature electrolysis, furnace, and electrochemical processes. Create 3D CAD models and drawings in SolidWorks, select mechanical components, develop and run V-Model-based verification/validation and DOE-driven test plans, and perform hands-on prototype assembly, troubleshooting, and commissioning in lab and pilot environments.
