Coordinates and oversees daily gift processing for membership and annual giving programs. Processes donations, pledges, recurring gifts, employer matches, DAF grants, QCDs, and other contributions in CRM and third-party systems. Manages ACH deposits, receipting, tax-deductibility compliance, documentation, controls, reporting, system testing, and workflow improvements. Collaborates across Development, Finance, IT, and external processing partners while resolving donor inquiries and supporting campaign readiness.

The Habitat Specialist will implement prescribed fire and habitat management, conduct wildlife surveys, procure supplies, and assist with training, focusing on habitat improvement.

Serve as the organization's regional face in South Dakota by supporting and growing local chapters, leading fundraising and membership efforts, launching and reinvigorating chapters, coordinating donor cultivation, organizing regional meetings, and collaborating across departments to deliver conservation outreach and volunteer engagement.

Assist Pheasants Forever and wildlife biologists with habitat management in Nebraska’s Loess Canyons, primarily removing Eastern Red Cedar using hand and power tools. Maintain equipment, collect research data, complete work and treatment records, follow safety procedures, and coordinate with landowners, government staff, and conservation representatives. Work independently in adverse weather while completing required training and following detailed instructions.

Develop farm management plans integrating conservation, agronomy, precision agriculture, technology, and economics. Conduct farm visits, evaluate marginal cropland, create maps, identify grants and cost-share opportunities, monitor projects, recruit farmers, support USDA conservation program enrollment, and provide technical assistance. Build relationships with farmers and agricultural partners, and organize workshops and outreach events. Regular regional and overnight travel is required, with telework available after training.

Coordinates USDA Farm Bill and other conservation programs, including outreach, landowner assistance, habitat planning, site eligibility assessments, conservation plan and contract documentation, reporting, and wildlife monitoring. Provides technical wildlife expertise to NRCS, state agencies, nonprofits, and local chapters. Conducts field visits and supports forestry, prescribed fire, grassland, and habitat management activities. Requires outdoor work, overnight travel, driving, and USDA security clearance eligibility.

Work with USDA‑NRCS and partners to accelerate enrollment and implement Farm Bill conservation programs (CRP, CREP, SAFE, EQIP, CSP). Provide technical wildlife habitat assistance, prepare conservation plans and contracts, conduct outreach and trainings, perform site assessments, and coordinate with local partners and PF & QF chapters.

Provide technical wildlife habitat assistance to private landowners and partners through Farm Bill programs. Conduct site visits, eligibility determinations, conservation planning, contract document development, implementation support, training, outreach with local chapters, and program coordination with NRCS, IDNR, and partners.

Work with USDA-NRCS and partners to promote and implement Farm Bill conservation programs. Provide technical assistance to landowners, prepare conservation plans and assessments, manage contracts and eligibility, conduct outreach and trainings, coordinate with local chapters and partners, and support habitat enrollment and management.
