Coordinates student recruitment, enrollment, onboarding, attendance monitoring, family engagement, and scholar persistence. Develops community partnerships, manages enrollment pipelines and waitlists, maintains PowerSchool records, analyzes attendance data, conducts family interventions, supports truancy prevention, and prepares compliance reports for school leadership. The role requires strong communication, organization, relationship-building, data management, and occasional evening or weekend availability for recruitment events.

Provides specialized instruction and individualized support to K-5 students with disabilities. Responsibilities include assessing academic, behavioral, social, and physical needs; developing and implementing IEPs and 504 plans; adapting lessons; tracking student progress; and collaborating with classroom teachers and families to support academic and developmental success.

Leads the launch and delivery of career readiness and life-skills programming in Kanawha County. Builds partnerships with employers, training providers, recovery services, and community organizations; coaches participants through enrollment, training, and job placement; facilitates workshops; addresses barriers using motivational interviewing and trauma-informed practices; manages participant data, compliance reporting, and program improvement; and hires and develops staff as funding permits.

Supports certified teachers in providing differentiated instruction, one-on-one tutoring, small-group learning, behavioral-plan implementation, and academic curriculum delivery for students with special education needs. Supervises students during lunch, recess, and transitions; assists in library, media center, and cafeteria activities; completes administrative tasks; tracks student progress and behavior; and collaborates with teachers, administrators, families, and staff.

Provides classroom, skills-lab, clinical, and field-based EMS instruction to high school learners. Develops curriculum, assessments, and hands-on training; prepares scholars for EMS certifications and career pathways; supervises work-based learning; maintains records and equipment; mentors students; coordinates clinical experiences; participates in quality improvement and continuing education; and performs pre-hospital care within the educator’s certification level.
