Teams at Personal Programmer

Design, deploy, and manage cloud-based microservices for an API-first, headless commerce platform. Develop backend services, define engineering best practices, and support application performance, uptime, scalability, code quality, testing, and quality assurance across the software development lifecycle. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary international engineering team to deliver integrations with ERP systems, CMS platforms, marketplaces, and other commerce technologies.

Build automated functional and performance test suites for REST and GraphQL APIs, design testing frameworks, and contribute code directly to the platform. Investigate automated-test failures by debugging and fixing backend source code. The role involves JavaScript and TypeScript development, collaboration with an international engineering team, and continuous learning in a microservices environment.

Implement and support cloud infrastructure, DevOps tooling, CI/CD pipelines, virtual Windows and Linux environments, and developer infrastructure. Diagnose infrastructure and network issues, improve software development lifecycles, promote observability, automate recurring tasks, and contribute to technology transitions. The role requires on-call availability and collaboration with operations and development teams.
