Designs, deploys, operates, and improves VMware virtualization platforms across on-premises data centers and hybrid cloud environments. Responsibilities include provisioning, capacity planning, patching, upgrades, performance tuning, monitoring, backup and disaster recovery, incident analysis, automation, and lifecycle management. The role collaborates across compute, storage, networking, security, and application teams; maintains documentation and runbooks; and mentors junior engineers.

Monitor and investigate security alerts using SIEM/EDR, perform incident triage and response, develop incident response plans and playbooks, coordinate remediation, and document incidents and lessons learned for continuous improvement.

Design, deploy, administer, and optimize enterprise Linux environments with a focus on Oracle KVM/OLVM virtualization. Provision and manage VMs, clusters, storage, networking, HA and DR solutions. Perform upgrades, migrations, patching, troubleshooting, and automation using Ansible and shell scripting. Participate in customer implementations and projects.

Develop and maintain analytics software using software engineering best practices. Build applications, manage data, integrate batch and real-time processes, write and automate code, and support on‑premise and cloud deployments using containers.

Implement and manage observability and AIOps tools, run PoCs, support technical pre-sales, and collaborate on projects to ensure system availability, reliability, and performance across infrastructure, databases, and applications.

Design, develop, and tune detection logic and alerts in SIEM/SOAR platforms; perform threat hunting, incident response, and log/IOC analysis; collaborate with SOC analysts, engineering, and customer success to improve visibility and remediation.

Design, implement, and support data-driven solutions across integration, quality, modeling, warehousing, visualization, and real-time decisioning. Contribute to advanced analytics (AI/ML/GenAI) projects, collaborate with project leads, and maintain project documentation, deliverables, and test results.

Design, develop, and execute performance tests using JMeter and LoadRunner, migrate JMeter scenarios to LoadRunner, simulate complex user journeys and authentication, maintain CI/CD pipelines and integrations (Git, Jira, Maven), support infrastructure and scripting for continuous integration and performance testing automation.

Design, configure, maintain and support enterprise backup and recovery solutions. Define backup policies, monitor environments, troubleshoot failures, run DR testing, document procedures, support customers, and mentor junior staff.
