Monitor network elements, systems, and applications for performance and availability. Provide first-level support by identifying and resolving issues, escalate to second- and third-level teams, and help improve monitoring processes and tools. The role requires foundational knowledge of networking, virtualization, and security principles, basic monitoring-tool experience, continuous learning, and willingness to work shifts.

Designs, deploys, operates, and improves VMware virtualization platforms across on-premises data centers and hybrid cloud environments. Responsibilities include provisioning, capacity planning, patching, upgrades, performance tuning, monitoring, backup and disaster recovery, incident analysis, automation, and lifecycle management. The role collaborates across compute, storage, networking, security, and application teams; maintains documentation and runbooks; and mentors junior engineers.

Monitor and investigate security alerts using SIEM/EDR, perform incident triage and response, develop incident response plans and playbooks, coordinate remediation, and document incidents and lessons learned for continuous improvement.
