Leads Percona’s globally distributed Global Services organization, overseeing Support, Managed Services, Professional Services, project management, and delivery operations. Owns service quality, customer satisfaction, strategic planning, operational improvement, AI-first transformation, knowledge management, and P&L performance. Partners with Product, Engineering, and Go-to-Market to shape strategy and innovation while maintaining expertise in open source database technologies. Develops high-performing teams, builds customer and community relationships, monitors market trends, and drives experimentation, efficiency, and scalable service delivery.

Create and maintain user-oriented technical documentation for PostgreSQL products, including installation, configuration, troubleshooting, user guides, manuals, man pages, help prompts, and release notes. Collaborate with engineering, product, development, QA, and documentation teams in a distributed docs-as-code environment. Use Markdown, version control, diagrams, AI tools, and documentation testing practices while contributing to documentation strategy and potentially open-source projects.

Work on Percona's open-source MongoDB operational tools (primarily ClusterSync and also Backup). Build and harden a Go-based replication engine handling initial cloning and continuous change streams, ensure correctness and fault tolerance at scale, support sharded clusters, optimize performance and resource usage, and maintain CLI/HTTP APIs, metrics, logging, tests, and packaging. Collaborate openly via GitHub pull requests and JIRA.

Provide expert MongoDB technical support, troubleshoot complex deployments, administer Linux systems, advise on schema/design, performance tuning, backups, monitoring, and collaborate on support content and product strategy while occasionally traveling for team or customer meetings.

As a PostgreSQL Database Support Engineer, you'll assist DBA teams with troubleshooting, create knowledge base articles, and author community blogs while focusing on performance tuning and high availability solutions.

Provide expert PostgreSQL support to customer DBA teams: gather diagnostics, troubleshoot production issues, perform live remediation, write knowledge-base content, host webinars, and contribute to the open-source community. Participate in monitoring, backup/restore, HA, zero-downtime procedures, and occasional travel for meetings or customer visits.

Own Percona's global developer community and event presence: manage social media and forum/Slack engagement, run contributor programs, support and staff in-person events, produce short-form video content, and perform light website maintenance and bug fixes.

Provide high-level administrative support to the CEO: manage calendar, prepare documents and board materials, coordinate meetings, handle travel and expenses, take minutes, triage email backlog, and facilitate follow-through on action items. Serve as backup support to the Executive Leadership Team and represent the CEO professionally in internal and external interactions.

Own product strategy and roadmap for Percona Monitoring and Management. Work with customers, community, and cross-functional teams to define requirements, prioritize features, run discovery, and drive product releases. Use telemetry and customer feedback to measure success and promote adoption through content, events, and community engagement.

Provide expert MySQL/InnoDB support to customer DBA teams: gather data, investigate issues, deliver analyses, run screen-share troubleshooting, author community content, build knowledge-base articles, and host webinars. Support includes performance tuning, HA, backups, Linux administration, monitoring, and occasional travel.
