Processes and verifies payment requests, expense claims, payment certificates, and cheque requests. Ensures HST accuracy, compliance with purchasing bylaws and policies, and proper authorization. Inputs payment documents and vendor data into PeopleSoft Financials, reconciles supplier statements, and verifies vendor banking information. The role also prepares accounts payable reports and provides service to vendors, internal staff, and the public.

Leads and advises on PeopleSoft Financials and ERP strategy, product roadmaps, functional requirements, project planning, testing, implementation, training, user procedures, and production support. Acts as a finance ERP subject-matter expert, researches system capabilities, resolves functionality issues, aligns ERP initiatives with organizational objectives, and collaborates with stakeholders and change management teams.

Provides expert employee and labour relations guidance, leading grievances, mediations, arbitrations, investigations, and collective bargaining matters. Develops labour relations strategies, advises leaders and unions, prepares analysis and reports, resolves complex workplace issues, and represents the organization at hearings. The role also mentors HR professionals and builds strategic relationships across the organization.

Provides resident-centered nursing and behavioral support for long-term care residents with dementia, mental health conditions, and responsive behaviors. Responsibilities include behavioral assessments, care planning, medication and treatment documentation, incident and risk analysis, de-escalation guidance, staff education, interdisciplinary collaboration, referrals, quality improvement, and monitoring pharmacological and non-pharmacological interventions.

Leads Sales Tax and CRA filing processes, manages GST/HST treatment and tax accounts, investigates transactions for compliance, and provides tax guidance to Finance and program staff. Supports financial statement consolidation, note disclosures, external audits, and the annual provincial Financial Information Return. The role requires financial analysis, audit working papers, research into CRA standards, policy development, and spreadsheet modeling in a hybrid public-sector environment.
