Processes and verifies payment requests, expense claims, payment certificates, and cheque requests. Ensures HST accuracy, compliance with purchasing bylaws and policies, and proper authorization. Inputs payment documents and vendor data into PeopleSoft Financials, reconciles supplier statements, and verifies vendor banking information. The role also prepares accounts payable reports and provides service to vendors, internal staff, and the public.

Leads and advises on PeopleSoft Financials and ERP strategy, product roadmaps, functional requirements, project planning, testing, implementation, training, user procedures, and production support. Acts as a finance ERP subject-matter expert, researches system capabilities, resolves functionality issues, aligns ERP initiatives with organizational objectives, and collaborates with stakeholders and change management teams.

Provides expert employee and labour relations guidance, leading grievances, mediations, arbitrations, investigations, and collective bargaining matters. Develops labour relations strategies, advises leaders and unions, prepares analysis and reports, resolves complex workplace issues, and represents the organization at hearings. The role also mentors HR professionals and builds strategic relationships across the organization.
