The intern will also gain exposure to steel fabrication and construction processes.

Quality Control Intern will inspect and document structural steel and concrete products, perform quality testing, identify nonconformities, maintain inspection records, and support production quality. The role includes programming CNC shop equipment, reading shop drawings, using concrete match-curing technology, conducting material tests, supporting continuous improvement, and maintaining a safe, orderly shop floor.

Inspects precast and prestressed concrete products for compliance with PDM and PCI standards. Manage steel projects from point of sale through jobsite delivery and closeout. Responsibilities include estimating materials, labor, and equipment; preparing bids; coordinating shop drawings, transmittals, subcontractors, vendors, fabrication, scheduling, deliveries, change orders, RFIs, contracts, quality issues, and project closeout. The role requires client communication, production coordination, subcontractor management, and quick decision-making in a fast-paced environment.

Estimating intern supporting precast sales and estimating teams. Responsibilities include quantity takeoffs, learning estimating software, reviewing drawings and specifications, tracking production schedules, identifying bidding opportunities, supporting sales orders, coordinating vendor pricing, taking meeting minutes, and assisting with bid-running activities. The role is intended for a college student pursuing a construction- or business-related degree.

Supports estimating and construction project management activities, including reviewing drawings and specifications, coordinating vendor pricing, processing submittals, RFIs and change orders, attending job meetings, documenting project information, reviewing contracts and scopes, maintaining files, and communicating with internal teams, clients, and vendors. The internship is designed for a college student pursuing a four-year construction-related degree.

Entry-level trainee role teaching fundamental structural steel fabrication and welding shop skills through structured hands-on training. Responsibilities include following safety procedures, handling tools and materials responsibly, learning from feedback, maintaining reliable attendance, communicating with supervisors, and contributing to a respectful team environment. The role requires physical stamina, lifting up to 75 pounds, climbing, crawling, and working outdoors year-round in varying weather conditions. No prior fabrication experience is required.

Prepare, fit, cut, drill and weld structural steel assemblies to AWS D1.1 and PDM quality standards.
