Provides strategic advice on payment capabilities within Canada’s digital trade modernization initiative. The role engages industry stakeholders, federal departments, and other organizations; assesses payment requirements, dependencies, and solution approaches; develops policy papers, presentations, and briefing materials; and supports alignment across technology, policy, and business stakeholders. The successful candidate will bring payments digitization expertise, knowledge of ISO standards and back-end processing, change initiative experience, and strong strategic communication skills.

Owns the technical and statistical integrity of payment data analytics workflows. Responsibilities include SQL and Python data ingestion, transformation, validation, quality controls, feature engineering, time-series analysis, model readiness, back-testing support, GCP analytics environment management, workflow automation, documentation, and translating findings for product and executive stakeholders.

Administer, maintain, develop, and support Payments Canada’s ServiceNow platform, including CMDB, asset repositories, configuration discovery, upgrades, testing, documentation, and user support. Assess solution deployments and implement platform enhancements while collaborating with technology teams and vendors. The role requires ServiceNow experience, infrastructure architecture knowledge, analytical skills, and eligibility for Government of Canada Reliability Status clearance.
