Supports the Director of Nursing by overseeing resident care, nursing staff, staffing assignments, documentation, care planning, infection control, regulatory compliance, and performance improvement. The role assists with hiring, training, evaluation, delegation, resource availability, and clinical coordination with physicians and consultants. The ADON may also provide floor staffing support and is expected to maintain high standards of geriatric or long-term care nursing.

Provides meal service and food preparation support for residents. Responsibilities include assembling and delivering meal trays, preparing and portioning food according to menus and recipes, rotating supplies, disposing of refuse, and washing and sanitizing dishes, utensils, and equipment. The role requires reliable attendance, teamwork, efficiency, cleanliness, food safety awareness, and a commitment to resident satisfaction.

Coordinates HR administration, recruitment support, employee records, payroll inquiries, compliance documentation, and employment actions. Manages business office functions including accounts receivable, billing, insurance and Medicare claims, resident trust funds, deposits, admissions financial verification, and payer updates. Provides training, maintains accurate records, supports regulatory compliance, and communicates with employees, residents, families, and external stakeholders.
